New Forest Livery - The Yard

We provide a warm welcome for riders to come to the farm with their equine friends, and enjoy the beauty and freedom of riding directly onto the New Forest National Park, from our gate.

An area of outstanding natural beauty - The Forest gives you 14,500 acres of open forest, ancient woodlands and unspoilt landscape to ride on. Created by William the Conqueror in 1079, as the King's hunting ground to hunt Red, Rose and Fallow Deer and was protected from the Agricultural Revolution.

Today the wild ponies still roam freely across the Forest as they have for almost 1,000 years, owned by people who live in the New Forest, known as commoners. The pony below is "Ruby", and is one of our very own New Forest ponies that we 'common', sheltering under an Oak tree outside the farm.

** Stabling with Haylage and Bedding   **   Lorry Parking   **   Small Turnout paddock   **   Horse Washbays   **   Use of 60 x 20 manege (option to have lessons)   **   Local Forest Maps   **   Use of our heated "Mane Room" including hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes   **   Shower room   **   Kitchen facilities with Wifi and TV: as if you'll have time!

We have two good pubs in walking distance which serve decent food all day.
